Distingsi: Journal of Digital Society (DJODS) is an academic journal that focuses on interdisciplinary studies of the digital society, particularly those related to the development and dynamics of the digital economy. The objectives of DJODS are to bridge the knowledge gap between academia and practitioners in the field of digital society in order to achieve sustainable community development and provide access to current research work. The journal's scope reflects this mission by addressing relevant and practical issues that emerge from digital transformation, including: Digital economy, Digital entrepreneurship, Digital public services (e-government), Financial technology (fintech) & digital inclusion, Data society & social transformation, and Algorithmic governance as part of the digital economy—focusing on social, economic, & policy impacts, not technical programming aspects. This scope is designed to encourage dialogue between theoretical research and real-world practices, ensuring that digital solutions contribute to sustainable socio-economic impact. DJODS welcomes contributions from various disciplines, as long as they remain within the scope of digital society and economy. The journal prioritizes works that offer critical analysis, forward-looking perspectives, and meaningful contributions to knowledge and policy development in the digital age. DJODS is published four times a year, in the months of October-December, January-March, April-June, and July-September.
