Pariwisata Budaya dan Ekonomi Kreatif: Memperkuat Identitas Lokal di Saung Angklung Udjo
Keywords:

Cultural-based tourism holds a strategic position as it not only strengthens local identity but also stimulates the growth of the creative economy. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that excessive commercialization often creates a dilemma between preserving tradition and fulfilling economic demands, which calls for a more balanced management model. This study seeks to examine the development strategies of cultural tourism at Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU) and its contribution to the enhancement of the creative economy and local values. Drawing upon the theories of creative economy, social capital, and cultural identity, the research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that SAU has successfully combined performing arts, product innovation, and the use of digital technology to strengthen its competitiveness. Interestingly, community participation emerged as the pivotal factor ensuring both sustainability and differentiation from other cultural destinations. Thus, this study offers empirical insights into the advancement of sustainable cultural tourism.
