Copyright and Licensing
Copyright
Authors publishing in Public Management and Public Value (PMPV) continue to own the copyright to their published work. Publication in PMPV does not transfer ownership of the manuscript to the journal or publisher. Authors authorize PMPV to publish, archive, and disseminate the article as its original scholarly publication, while retaining the freedom to reuse the work in teaching materials, repositories, academic platforms, books, or subsequent scholarly outputs in accordance with the applicable license.
Licensing Terms
All articles in Public Management and Public Value are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license encourages the circulation and development of scholarly knowledge by allowing published material to be shared, reproduced, and adapted in different media and formats, including for commercial purposes.
Users who reuse material published by PMPV must clearly identify the original author(s), acknowledge Public Management and Public Value as the source of publication, provide information about the applicable license, and indicate whether changes have been made. When an article or part of it is modified, translated, remixed, or incorporated into a derivative work, the new material must be released under CC BY-SA 4.0 or another license permitted under the ShareAlike terms of the license.
Through this approach, PMPV seeks to maintain authors' ownership of their scholarly work while enabling research in public management and public value to circulate, be reused, and contribute to wider academic and professional knowledge.
