Plagiarism Screening

Every manuscript submitted to Public Management and Public Value (PMPV) undergoes a plagiarism and similarity screening before entering the peer-review process. The journal uses Turnitin to identify potentially overlapping text, unattributed material, inappropriate paraphrasing, and substantial similarities with previously published sources.

Similarity results are evaluated by the editorial team and are not treated as an automatic determination of plagiarism. Manuscripts showing substantial or problematic overlap may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected when serious academic integrity concerns are identified.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and referenced and are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to maintain accurate and consistent citations throughout the manuscript.
