Focus & Scope

Public Management and Public Value advances research on how public organizations manage strategy, leadership, capabilities, performance, and service transformation to create public value. The journal examines managerial and organizational processes across public institutions and connects them with accountability, citizen-oriented outcomes, and institutional effectiveness. It publishes theoretical, empirical, and conceptual studies that strengthen public management scholarship within the broader field of public administration.

The scope of Public Management and Public Value is organized around six interconnected areas:
